ABOUT ME
Roxy's passion and talents as a self taught make-up artist were so strong that, she decided to embark in her first business venture in her native Tecate Mexico, where she owns and operates her makeup and hair studio. She's been in the makeup industry for almost a decade , she mastered her craft at Mary Gastelum's All About Beauty school of Makeup Art, MIC makeup academy for HD photography and television makeup. Also, took private lessons by various talented Mexican makeup artists. Took different art classes at Cuyamaca Community College and The San Francisco School of Arts. Attended training at "National Eyebrow Threading and Eyelash Extension Specialists Association" to become a certified lash extension stylist, eyebrow and face threading techniques.
Roxy works at MAC Cosmetics, and worked other Estee Lauder brands, Clinique and Estee Lauder at San Diego and Orange County .She is also a freelance artist for CNN, Fox, Telemundo, Univision News Groups, Raw Artists San Diego show and magazine, also works as an on-call artist for the San Diego Chargers Girls, She has collaborated with photographers Zony Maya and David Josue amongst many others.
Roxy works year-round creating countless bridal looks for wedding parties all over the Baja Mexico, San Diego and Los Angeles areas while pursuing her new passion for facial threading and lash extensions at her studio. She enjoys when the opportunity to work on commercials, editorials, runways, and dance festivals. It is vital to Roxy, furthering her learning every year by updating her product knowledge, and perfecting her craft in hair and the latest makeup and airbrush trends.
She works her magic backstage creating dramatic theatrical looks for various Ballet and dance academies in the Baja California and San Diego Areas. She has worked on creative editorial photo shoots, and worked numerous beauty pageant for "Belleza Internacional Mexico", as well as acting as a Judge for this Global Association.
